The first post

After many days, or shall I say months, of ruminating I decided to create my own blog. I have never been one for fervent self expression, but what the hell.

So a bit about me…I am an aspiring labor attorney, ready to defend employers against the rumbling resurgence of unions (i.e. Change to Win and its sock puppet the SEIU). Why union busting? Well, it’s complicated. Essentially, I’m an ardent proponent of capitalism and think that unions compromise that ideal. Given the extent to which the government already regulates business, I think its essential to preserve what rights to self-management employers still have. Alright, enough with this diatribe. I’ll start another.

I am equally passionate about fashion, shoes primarily. Christian Louboutin, Lanvin, Manolo Blahnik, Jimmy Choos – obvious? Yes. Simple? No. These shoes not only make art wearable, but enable one (me), by just slipping into each hand crafted delicacy, to feel empowered, sexy, and self-defined. Shoes, clothing, accessories, when unique and carefully assembled – regardless of price – can truly make one look and feel stunning. Of course, inner self-confidence is essential. But gorgeous fabric, ingenious design, and innovative style only help facilitate and illuminate that confidence.

Well, I think I’ve been rambling and confusing enough for my first blog. There are certainly plenty to come.
